After a slanderous article was published about Pink Panther Inc.’s decision to fire many of their workers was published, our company decided to rethink the way we do our business. After the introduction of the quota, limiting our production to a mere 700 units, two of our three machines were left sitting idle. To cut costs, and make sure that no money was wasted in these tough economic times, Pink Panthers Inc. had no choice but to lay off some workers.
As the new cycle came around, we were disappointed to see that our actions made it seem like we didn’t care about our employees. Once we found out about the introduction of new green technologies, the Scrub-Ease, we were ready to buy this technology. The technology, although pricey, allowed us to employ another machine, thus we rehired some of the workers that we were forced to lay off the week before.
As our funds were running low, we were not able to purchase a second Scrub-Ease, but once the report for this cycle’s production comes in, we will weigh the pros and cons of buying another Scrub-Ease. If the decision is made to purchase another, we will make sure to hire more workers.
